iStopMotion and iMovie

The programe I used to create my animation was iStop Motion. In this programe you have to take it picture by picture and when you are finished it will go through all of the photos at 12 frames per second. When you are making your animation, if you are using clay models or even human models then you need to move them ever to slightly to make it look like they are moving. For example if you are trying to make it look like someones arm is going to pick up something you have to move the arm 1cm at a time at the most and then you have to pick up the object really slowly so it looks like he is moving at normal speed when you play it back. To take the picture there is a small red dot that looks like a record button and you click that to take a picture.

The second programme I used was iMovie to add the titles to my animations. First of all i imported my footage into iMovie after i exported it into a movie file in iStop Motion. after i imported it, it gave me multiple options of what titles i could use. I chose the super hero style because I knew that’s what I could make it in to. After I chose it I then cut my original clip up so I could drag and drop the certain parts of the clip where I wanted in the movie in between the titles. Finally I just wrote wanted I wanted in the titles where it says edit and then I was finished finally all i needed to do was export that as a movie and then put it into my blog and it was finished.

Feel free to check out my animation below.
